Lessons & Courses

How are lessons delivered?
Lessons are held online via Zoom. You’ll share projects, scores, or DAW sessions in real time and receive practical feedback, guidance, and demonstrations.

What topics are covered in private lessons?
Topics include composing to picture, orchestration, sound design, adaptive music systems, portfolio development, and using industry-standard tools like Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Sibelius, Wwise, and Reaper.

Do you offer long-term mentorship programs?
Yes. In addition to single lessons and bundles, we offer ongoing mentorship designed to guide you through larger creative projects, career development, or preparation for music program entrance exams.

Are there any structured courses available?
Yes. We offer short micro-courses on topics like adaptive game music, as well as personalised learning tracks built around your goals.

Technical & Requirements

What software do I need for lessons?
Any DAW you’re comfortable with is fine — most students use Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Reaper, or Cubase. For game music, we also work with Wwise and FMOD.

Do I need prior experience in music composition?
Not necessarily. We adapt to your skill level. Some students are beginners, while others are professional composers looking to refine specific techniques.

Do I need specific hardware or equipment?
You’ll need a computer, your DAW, a decent internet connection, and Zoom. A MIDI keyboard and audio interface are helpful, but not required.

Certification & Results

Will I get a certificate after completing lessons?
We don’t offer formal accreditation. Instead, the focus is on personalised growth, portfolio building, and practical skills that directly serve your career.

How will private lessons help me as a film or game composer?
You’ll gain personalised feedback, learn professional workflows, and build music tailored to your portfolio. Our goal is to help you compose with confidence and stand out in a competitive industry.
